Very interesting question . Frankly I am not sure if prepayment of a loan is any indicator of the credit responsiveness of a customer or not. I feel it can be read in a positive way, that this customer managed to understand the cash inflows and figure out a way to repay the outstanding loan much ahead of earlier promised repayment schedule.

For banks this is a revenue loss and they would want to discourage it mostly. Not sure if that discouragement will be in the form of credit score impact.

I will be very keen to hear an expert comment on this.
